We help our clients to build the capacity for long-term, incremental and on-going change within government, civil society and the private sector. This is fundamental in ensuring that development projects has an impact not just during the implementation phase, but has continued progress after the external consultants have left.
We recognise, through our experience on many projects in Africa, that capacity goes far beyond skills and procedures; that incentives, governance, an acceptance of change are all key elements of development. Thus, our approach to increasing capacity within an organisation involves not just imparting knowledge and skills to their management and personnel but also to improve the organisation’s work culture and their approach to delivering value and service to their internal and external stakeholders.
